A #1 Owner 1956 Ford Victoria. That's 68 years of love and care.
Fully restored at a cost of $96,368.31
It is not often that we get to talk about a life long love affair.
It is 1956 and a young man was working as a lot boy at a Ford
dealership in Butte MT. The all new 1956 Ford Victoria is
introduced to the American public. It only took one look and the
young man was hooked as the ladies would say. With some convincing
he was able to buy the red and white Victoria. After his hitch in
the Airforce, he relocated to Seattle WA. The '56 was used as the
family car. There was no letting go of the Victoria. The '56 has
his heart. In October 2016 the restoration has begun. It would take
three years and in 2019 the work was completed at a cost of
$96,386.31.
The orginal 292 engine has been rebuilt and upgraded to a 312ci. A
new solid state electronic breakless ignition system and the
replacement of the old-style generator with a reliable alternator
has given a new life to the 12-volt system. Brighter headlights and
dependable starting just to name a few. The 2-speed Ford-O-Matic
transmission has been replaced with a 3-speed C-4 automatic. These
changes have made both city and HWY driving speeds a pleasure. The
aluminum high flow radiator by Champion keeps the '56 running cool
under any driving conditions. Today's traffic and parking makes
power steering a must! Summer driving is meant to be a pleasure.
So, a Classic Auto Air under the dash A/C unit has been added. The
old AM radio has been replaced with AM/FM/Blue Tooth/RDS Tuner and
VA display by Custom Autosound. The classic look with modern
features.
The '56 has had a complete tear down to bare metal. Repainted in
the factory color of Fiesta Red and Colonial White (EK code). This
is a show level restore. The original Custom line Victoria chrome
was removed and replaced with Fairlane Victoria identity chrome. It
is beautiful! The dual spotlights and dual antennas are time period
correct. The spectacular new luxury interior has been done back to
original factory starting with the correct bright red loop carpet
(CPT565) and Ford emblem floor mats to the deep-cushion two tone
white and red seats. The interior was done by Trimcraft Custom
Upholstery. The interior is color-keyed to the exterior finish. The
'56 has the original "Lifeguard Dash Panel-Padding."
All paperwork of build, repairs, and services are part of sale.
Plus, the original '56 Ford brochure, glovebox owner's manual, and
a "It's new '56 Ford Fairlane Victoria" advertisement.
Take it home for $58,000.00!
NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $55,500.00!
This car is located in Edmonds, Washington.
