Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present to
you this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. If i were given just one word to
describe this Chevelle it would be WOW ! This car has everything
going for it and i am about to give you the scoop but first, just
look at it, WOW !Under the hood, you'll find 468 cubic inches of
tire hating horsepower. This massive engine has been treated to the
proper parts to make it sing the song of power. Comp Cams Muther
Thumper cam, push rods and lifters control the valves while the
Pete Jackson gear drive keeps the steel crank and cam in sync.
Fitech fuel injection system throws fuel and air down the huge
intake runners then the H.E.I distributor by MSD lights the fires
and Hooker headers allow the gasses to escape through 3 inch tubes
that have electric cut outs just before the Flow master mufflers.
The transmission of choice is a firm shifting turbo 350 that is
equipped with a 2500 stahl converter. All that torque is then sent
to the 9 inch rear axle housing by Currie, which is as close as a
Ford will get to this ride. The list of parts used looks like my
Christmas list. Wilwood brakes, Billet specialty Rims, QA1 coil
overs, tubular control arms, be cool radiator, Nittos tires up
front and excessive Mickey Thompson rubber in the rear tucked in
the mini tubs. Most of the major A/C parts are there but needs
finishing to use.Wow ! right? This car is serious and this much fun
should be against some law, somewhere. Better grab it before
someone else does. Shoot, if not now,,,,,,WHEN?!Sale held pursuant
to permit No. 19289 of department of licenses granted the 14th day
of August 2015.
