The Firebird was built by Pontiac between 1967 and 2002. The first generation Firebirds had a characteristic Coke bottle styling. The second generation debut for the 1970 model year was delayed until February 26, 1970 and was designated as a 1970½ model. Replacing the Coke bottle styling was a more swoopy body style, with the top of the rear window line going almost straight down to the lip of the trunk. A distinctive, slant-nose facelift occurred in 1977 and was redone again somewhat in 1979. This particular example still has its original Cameo White paint and looks great with its original Light Blue cloth interior and color coordinated decals that are original to the car as well. It was optioned with the Olds 403 ci 6.6 liter engine and a Turbo Hydramatic 3-Speed automatic transmission which are original to the car. There are only 95,721 miles on this beauty. It features a Flowmaster exhaust. The heat works and the A/C blows cold as it was recharged with its last service which was within the last 1000 miles. Everything is in working order except for the cruise control. If you could see this classic added to your collection you should contact us before it slips away!
