This Karmann Ghia is a 2+2 Coupe that has been freshly painted in Dove Grey (the original color of the car was black). The interior is highly original with the original black vinyl seats, dash, steering wheel, Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, and door panels. The carpets are new and period correct as is the tachometer.
This Volkswagen has been given a mechanical make-over that gives it some extra juice! The flat-4 engine has been rebuilt to 2160 cc specifications that gives the car a boost of power. Originally these cars had a 1300 cc motor producing 45 horsepower. Now, this car has over doubled that, producing 105 to 110 horsepower. There is also a new clutch and new 4-speed transmission. The Karmann Ghia starts, runs, and drives fantastic. You will forget it is an almost 60-year old car!
