1991 ZR-1 Corvette with 52,584 miles is being offered for $35,000. This vehicle has been in the family since purchased new by my brother-in-law. We purchased the vehicle from his estate in 2007.
VIN: 1G1YZ23J6M5800456 CARFAX report dated 21 November 2024 is available and can be provided as a PDF via email. Photographs are not in landscape, will update them as time allows.
Vehicle is in excellent shape. The drivers seat has observable wear on the entry side lumbar from getting into and out of the vehicle. Side and rear windows have been professionally tinted. There is something off in the performance of the engine. Either a vacuum leak or exhaust leak. Whatever it is, the lack of horsepower is notable and the vehicle will back fire sometimes when decelerating. It may be the catalytic converter going out. Aside from the performance issue, the vehicle was built with a Bose speaker/amp that no longer works. The original am/fm cassette/CD player remains as installed even though it can not be used without replacing the original speaker/amp system.
Other than loss of HP and the stereo not working, this ZR-1 is in excellent shape, the body has a couple of minor scratches that I will have to point out to viewers as they are that minor. The paint has been protected by a life in the garage. Both the painted targa top and the glass targa top remain with the vehicle as does the VIP Delivery box with original MSRP Sticker.
If you know, you know that the 1991 ZR-1 was a performance beast of it's time. If you don't know, then you probably wont' be interested in this solid piece of American Muscle Car history.
Price is negotiable.
Owner/seller is an active duty police officer at local police department and has seen all forms of fraud stemming from internet auto sales, do not recommend trying that with me.
