Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is proud to offer this stunning
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, an iconic American muscle car,
meticulously maintained and frame-on restored to near perfection.
This Chevelle features a numbers-matching 396 CI L34 engine,
originally rated at 350hp, but now boasting approximately 500hp
thanks to internal upgrades. Paired with a correct 4-speed M21
Muncie transmission, this car drives and performs beautifully.
Originally built in Arlington, Texas, on April 15th, 1970, this
Chevelle retains its original character with many modern
enhancements. Key features include:
Engine: Rebuilt 396 CI V8 with a Holley Demon carburetor, Hooker
headers, MSD ignition system, and a custom aluminum radiator.
Power: Front power disc brakes, power steering, and a robust 2.5"
crossover exhaust system.
Suspension & Drivetrain: Factory F41 handling package, boxed-in
rear control arms, original 12-bolt Posi traction rear housing,
upgraded 4.10 gear ratio.
Interior: New door panels, seat covers, and carpet sound deadener.
Includes autometer under-dash gauges and a tachometer with shift
light.
Exterior: Repainted in its factory-correct Cranberry Red with black
stripes, featuring exceptional fit and finish with new chrome
bumpers, door handles, mirrors, and window felts.
All mechanicals were replaced or refurbished during the
restoration, and this car is fully functional down to the brake
lights, turn signals, and rear window defogger. This Chevelle SS is
not just a piece of automotive history; it's a powerful,
ready-to-drive machine that will impress on the road and at any car
show.
