1980 Jeep CJ-7 has been restored, and upgrades to the engine,
interior, and body. The troublesome ignition module has been
replaced with a new distributor, making it easy to start and
enjoyable to drive. It now handles the 304 V8 power more
efficiently than ever. Original automatic transmission was replace
with a 4-speed manual. ( I do not have the org automatic) The
upgrades include a rebuilt Edelbrock carburetor, a new mechanical
fuel pump and hoses, distributor and cables, premium spark plugs,
and an air filter. I completely removed all rust and repainted the
vehicle in its original color. Additionally, I replaced the front
and tail lights, the windshield frame (which was beyond repair),
and the mirrors, and applied a fresh bedliner and undercoating. The
interior features new front and rear seats, a new bikini top, a new
center console, a marine-grade stereo system with an amplifier and
speakers, and a new dashboard panel. I also installed a new fuel
tank and sending unit replaced the parking brake line, and serviced
the rear drum brakes. I purchased the Jeep with 40,000 miles on the
odometer; the previous owner indicated those miles were accumulated
since the engine was rebuilt. Since then, I have driven it
approximately 2,500 miles. Tires on the Jeep is 35x12.5x15 and said
are in very good condition. Horn and wipers not workin, that's it!
