Real deal steel body! Top quality frame off custom build! Less than
2,400 miles since completion. This hot rod has a look and stance
that will make you drool. It has a full custom TCI chassis and
professional custom interior. Plus, all that is paired with modern
creature comforts like air conditioning, power windows, tilt
column, and a crate engine that really enhance the driving
experience. This picturesque classic will get you anywhere you want
to go in comfort and style!
EXTERIOR: All steel body except the 2 rear fenders. The Poppy Red
paint is vibrant and reflective. It was laid out with expert detail
then polished to a smooth and shiny finish. All the panels were
wonderfully aligned with gaps that are consistent and spot on.
Looking down the side of the 100% laser straight body there is not
a wave or ripple in sight. The door handles were removed and now
pop open electronically via remote control. All the glass is
smoked. The rubber seals, and fuzzy strips were replaced as well.
It has electric wipers and dual mirrors. The headlights have
integrated turn signals and the taillights were also upgraded plus
a 3rd brake light was molded in under the rear window. It has a
flush mount power antenna and gas cap. The front grille was painted
body color and the side vents match it perfectly. The bumpers are
polished stainless and look fantastic. It has running boards you
can stand on, covered with original style ribbed rubber. It's
sitting pretty on staggered chrome American Racing wheels wrapped
in radial tires that are size 225/70HR15 in the rear.
INTERIOR: Totally tricked out! Full custom tweed professional
upholstery! Absolutely beautiful top to bottom. The upgraded gauges
by Classic Instruments fit the style and colors of this car
perfectly. The dash and custom center console are painted just like
the body. Air vents were added to the dash. The center console
houses the modern stereo, cb radio, power window switches, cup
holders, hand brake, and Vintage Air climate controls. It has a
tilt column and a leather wrapped banjo steering wheel. The custom
lowback bucket seats by Kasper recline, have sweet tweed
upholstery, and are very comfortable. The rear custom seats have
matching upholstery with the battery hidden under the passenger
side. The door panels, side panels, headliner, and visors are
finished in matching tweed also. The car was totally rewired with
Ron Francis wiring and has extra speakers neatly concealed behind
the panels too. The aftermarket gas and brake pedals are
comfortably spaced out for easy use. The carpet was replaced, and
it has custom floor mats as well.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Clean and custom! 350 V8 crate engine rated at
330 horsepower. It has a Holley carburetor, GM Performance intake,
Vortex heads, Street Performance headers, and much more. A Bitchin
Products air cleaner, ribbed chrome valve covers, and matching
spark plug wire holders really dresses up the bay nicely. It's
equipped with air conditioning and power brakes. The firewall has
been smoothed and painted just like the exterior. Struts easily
hold up the steel hood with a body color painted underside. The
latch mechanism was also replaced.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully finished! Inside the jamb is neatly
painted just like the body and the weatherstrip was replaced. The
bottom side of the power trunk lid is nicely upholstered and has a
billet aluminum hinge. The reminder of the trunk is all beautifully
boxed, carpeted, and upholstered to match the interior.
UNDERSIDE: Frame off build on a TCI boxed chassis! The front
suspension and steering were upgraded to a Mustang II style clip
with a swaybar, rack & pinion, tubular control arms, modern
shocks/springs etc. Out back has fresh leaf springs with lowering
blocks and new shocks too. It's equipped with power front disc
brakes and all new lines. The exhaust system is totally sweet and
all stainless steel, even the Glass pack style mufflers. The 20
gallon gas tank and all the lines were also replaced. Looking up at
the 350 V8 crate engine it's very clean and neatly painted red. The
Turbo 350 automatic transmission looks recently serviced with a
fresh linkage and finned cooler too. A custom driveshaft leads back
to the beefy Ford 9" rear end with 3.73 gears. The floors are all
clean and solid metal, neatly painted black. The TCI boxed frame
with lots of structure and extra supports was also prepped,
painted, and clear coated.
SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car, and we
adjusted the idle, adjusted the door striker, and replaced the fuel
pump.
This car is just built right! All the custom work and modern
amenities make this hot rod a no brainer! On top of that, it is
absolutely exquisite as well!
