GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this restored 1967 Oldsmobile
Cutlass 442 Convertible for your consideration. This classic muscle
car is powered by its original, numbers-matching 400 cubic inch V8
engine paired with an automatic transmission, geared to a 3.91 rear
end. It is completed in a striking Saffron yellow exterior and
paired with a Yellow interior. Originally a California car, it
found its way to Michigan in 1986, where it underwent a complete
frame-on restoration (including drivetrain) and has just approx
1,000 miles on it since completion. Ensuring its performance and
aesthetics shine brightly. The vehicle features just one repaint, a
new convertible top, and rare 1967 headrests, and retains its
original engine, carburetor, distributor, and M40 transmission.
This Oldsmobile is equipped with W30 parts (not original to the
car, the W30 options were added during the restoration process,
everything besides the W30 engine cam), a chrome air cleaner, red
fender walls, a plastic grille scoop, and a factory punched core
support, among many other impressive highlights. Enjoy modern
conveniences including powered windows, a quick trunk release,
chrome accents, a full-size spare tire, a spacious trunk, a Rally
Pac instrument cluster, BFGoodrich red line tires, a power antenna,
deluxe seatbelts, and much more as you relish the classic muscle
car experience. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us
assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't
hesitate to call us with any questions or for more information.
The Oldsmobile 442 was introduced in 1964 and quickly became a
symbol of American muscle cars throughout the late 1960s. The name
"442" originally referred to its four-barrel carburetor, four-speed
manual transmission, and dual exhausts; it evolved into a badge
that represented power and performance. The 1967 model showcased a
more aggressive design and offered a solid blend of style and
horsepower that appealed to driving enthusiasts. With its
unmistakable presence on the road, the '67 442 has remained a
sought-after classic among collectors and muscle car aficionados
alike.
