GT5-S, showcasing only 17,000 miles. The stunning gloss black
exterior with gold accents beautifully complements the tan leather
interior.
The Pantera GT5-S represents the last "production" model made by De
Tomaso, with only 182 GT5-S models produced worldwide, and just 38
allocated for the US market. The design features all-steel bodywork
by American designer Tom Tjaarda at Ghia, combined with a 351 CI
Cleveland V8 engine and a ZF 5-speed transmission. The US versions
received an upgraded performance variant of the 351 Cleveland,
boasting higher compression, aluminum cylinder heads, an improved
intake, a Holley carburetor, and a more aggressive camshaft,
courtesy of American auto entrepreneur Kirk Evans.
This GT5-S is striking in gloss black with gold accents. It
features recently refurbished Gold Campagnolo GT4 magnesium wheels,
measuring 15x10 inches in the front and 15x13 inches in the rear,
and is equipped with newly released Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires,
sized 285/40/15 in the front and 335/55/15 in the rear. This
vehicle comes from an impressive collection of a true De Tomaso
enthusiast who has meticulously cared for the GT5-S to ensure it
requires nothing. Recent updates include new belts, hoses, fluids,
filters, and lines, as well as new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor,
intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and valve covers, along with a
new air cleaner assembly. The headlights have been upgraded to
Hella H4 lamp housings with 100W LED bulbs. It also includes a
factory toolkit, owner's manual, and the original parts book.
