Vehicle Description
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in white over
new saddle tan leather upholstery and powered by a 327ci V8 mated
to a four-speed manual transmission. (All numbers matching Eng and
Trans) Features include a new tan convertible soft top, flip-up
headlights, split chrome bumperettes, a push-button AM/FM radio,
power steering, power brakes, Goodyear whitewall tires, and new
tires and custom chrome US Wheels (original 15in steel wheels with
spinner covers are also included with the sale). This Corvette C2
was acquired by the previous owners in 1990 and is now offered by
the seller with a Montana title.
The fiberglass body is finished in white and is said to have been
repainted. Features include a new tan convertible soft top, a
vented hood, finned rocker trim, fender vents, split chrome
bumperettes, flip-up headlights, and dual exhaust outlets that exit
through the rear valance.
The original 15in steel wheels wear faux knock-off covers and are
mounted with 215/75 Goodyear Regatta narrow whitewall tires and are
included with the sale. The car is equipped with power steering,
and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four
corners.
The cabin features new leather upholstered bucket seats joined by a
color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment
includes a center-mounted analog clock, heater and defroster, a
reverse lock-out shifter, hand-crank windows, polished door sills,
lap belts, and a Delco AM push-button radio. The front and rear
suspension was recently upgraded including new coil over shocks as
well as new control arms and all new bushings.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer,
tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery charge, coolant
temperature, and oil pressure. The ignition switch is mounted on
the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles,
approximately 16k of which were added during prior ownership. Total
mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor, orange-finished
valve covers, and a polished air cleaner lid and ignition
shield.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual
transmission.
