example of this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 Door Hardtop with a no
expense spared custom build with a 502 c.i. 508HP V8 fuel injected
engine matched to a 5 speed Tremec manual transmission and
presented in striking 'Midnight Blue' paint.The car was purchased
in 2021 for almost $100K from the renown 'Rick Treworgy's Muscle
Car City' collection auction, which was being represented by the
renown 'Mecum Classic Car Auctions' in Punta Gorda, FL, and which
was listed as a frame-up restoration on an original 454/270HP V8
Big Block true factory W code car with a Cowl Induction hood and 12
bolt Positraction rear end with rear sway bar and with a 4 speed
manual transmission with factory air conditioning, power steering,
power brakes, soft ray tinted glass, AM/FM radio and deluxe safety
belts with shoulder harnesses and bucket seats with console. The
buyer proceeded to upgrade the car further with no expense spared
at the renown 'Brauns Motorsports', of Lomita, CA and we have all
the invoices from the shop for the work performed since that
purchase. The upgrades included the following: GM crate 502ci
engine with 508hp/580 ft lbs torque, 4 bolt main block, forged
steel crank, forged aluminum pistons, 9.6-1 compTremec 5spd manual
transmission with Mcleod 11 clutch.Engine chassis dyno tuned.
Edelbrock Proflow 4 fuel injection,GM 12 Bolt Differential with
3:73 Positraction Rear End,Functional cowl induction, Tanks in fuel
tank, intank fuel pump, all s/stl 3/8 fuel line, 40mocron filter,
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. Mattson Dual Fan 4 row
radiator, Hi flow water pump, ceramic coated exhaust headers,
custom 3# stainless steel dual exhaust. Power assist front disc
brakes, brake calipers, disc pads, rear brake shoes, brake
hardware,w/cylinders, m/cylinder brake hose, brake flush. Complete
Vintage AC rebuild includes; evaporator, heater core exp valve,
compressor, condenser, all hoses, R134a freon. New battery, cables,
140a alt amp; wiring, Dakota analog dash cluster, Retro sound
system stereo 100 watts, (4) speakers New custom center console
with Dakota digital gauges, 2 cup holder, custom factory steering
wheel. 4 x 255/60r15 Goodyear tires, custom front suspension
rebuild w/Global West lower control arms,Power steering with
rebuild PS gear box, PS hoses,1 1/8 sway bar, front wheel alignment
Front seat rails modified for addition rear movement, all seat
