Vehicle Description
This 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 Pickup started life as a
Malaysian-spec rig that was used as a rural commuter-rig for years
before being taken off the road and refurbished in the last 2 years
before being recently imported into the US. It is finished in Arles
Blue over Black upholstery and is powered by a 2.5l turbo diesel
inline-4 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a
dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes refinished steel
10-hole wheels, leatherette upholstery and dash, upgraded stereo,
aftermarket alarm and AC.
The truck is finished in Arles Blue and features fresh exterior
paint and bed lining. Trim and seals were replaced when available
and original components were refinished as needed. Additional
equipment includes refinished 15 inch steel wheels wrapped in new
all-terrain tires, front bumper, dual-latching tailgate and
aftermarket side steps. Overall fit and finish of the exterior
leaves the impression of a quality driver example.
The interior features bucket seats trimmed in black leatherette
along with an accompanying dash in the same material.. Additional
amenities include aftermarket stereo and speakers, AC with under
dash-venting, alarm and power locks. The original logo bound
steering wheel frames white instrumentation including a 120-mph
speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and an analogue tachometer that
indicates zero miles as it was just swapped in and has not been
adjusted to the chassis' correct miles (113625 miles).
The Defender is powered by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-4
providing power through a five-speed manual transmission, a
dual-range transfer case. We put the truck in our shop and did a
front end overhaul to ensure the brakes, bearings and axles were in
full working shape and ready for the next owner. Additional photos
