mileage MGB Limited Edition comes to market. This MGB LE has only
39k original miles and the same owner for 25 years. I have owned,
serviced, and restored British sports cars for almost 50 years. I
drove an MGA, Triumph TR3, Spitfire, and GT6 to high school in the
early '70s. I restored a '54 MGTF ground up and have refurbished
dozens of British cars including MGTD, MGTC, and TR4. I know these
cars as well as anyone and can attest that this 1979 MGB LE is a
rare highly original example of the highly desirable MGB Limited
Edition model. Original 1800 cc engine with 4 speed manual
transmission. The engine is strong as is the clutch, transmission
and driveline. Electronic ignition properly set. Correct rebuilt
single Zenith Stromberg CD175 carburetor with correct original air
filter. Rebuilt Automatic choke. Carb cleaned and properly tuned.
39k documented original miles on odometer. Less than 1,000 miles
