Description:
This 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider was initially sold by Lake Forest
Sportscars of Lake Bluff, Illinois, and has been fitted with Tubi
Style exhaust manifolds and an aftermarket audio system, which
consists of an Alpine touchscreen head unit, a JL Audio amplifier,
and a trunk-mounted subwoofer. Finished in Rosso Corsa over tan
leather upholstery, it is powered by a 4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired
with a six-speed F1 automated transaxle. The car is further
equipped with 19? split-spoke alloy wheels, a black soft top, an
electronically controlled limited-slip differential, cross-drilled
and ventilated brake rotors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a
carbon-fiber rear diffuser, power-adjustable Daytona-style bucket
seats, machined aluminum pedals, carbon-fiber interior trim, and
automatic climate control.
Interior:
The power-adjustable Daytona-style bucket seats are upholstered in
tan leather with Cavallino Rampante logos on the headrests and
color-contrasting piping. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and
additional appointments include carpeted floor mats, machined
aluminum pedals, automatic climate control, power windows and
locks, a wind deflector, and an aftermarket audio system consisting
of an Alpine touchscreen head unit, a JL Audio amplifier, and a
trunk-mounted subwoofer. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering
wheel is equipped with an engine-start button as well as a
manettino dial for control of dynamic settings. Instrumentation
includes a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as
a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil
temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 46k
miles.
Exterior:
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and has a
black soft top, xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields,
a backup camera, and quad exhaust tips exiting on either side of
the carbon-fiber rear diffuser. The left door actuator was replaced
in 2023.
Drivetrain:
The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine
management, a dry-sump lubrication system, and Tubi Style exhaust
manifolds. Work in 2023 included changing the oil in addition to
replacing the pollen air filter and oxygen sensors. Power is sent
to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and
an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The 19?
split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with staggered-width Pirelli P
Zero tires. Braking is handled by red-finished brake calipers over
