Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Coupe. Nice Driver Corvette in overall very good condition
featuring a rebuilt replacement and period correct non-numbers
matching 327CI engine with Edelbrock Carb coupled to a 4 Speed
Manual Transmission which was completely rebuilt two years ago.
American Icon in White with Silver coves, black vinyl interior in
very good condition with no rips or tears and brand new black
convertible manual top and accented with 15 inch Corvette wheels
with newer American Classic white wall tires. Interior is in
overall nice condition with full instrument panel and gauges
including Factory Tachometer with 6500 Redline. Aftermarket
Panasonic AM/FM Cassette radio. Engine compartment is very clean
and features a chrome air filter covering the Edelbrock 4 barrel
carb and chrome Corvette valve covers. Paint on the car is in
overall very good condition with minimal cracking and a few
imperfections along the hood and passenger side door as noted as
well as on the driver's side headlight housing as shown. Center
console door could use some attention as shown. All the body panels
line up nicely, the door close firmly and all of the trim, badging
and chrome is intact in in overall very good condition, The new
convertible top operates as expected and folds neatly into the rear
compartment. Owner has fashioned a wind deflector that reduces wind
and noise when driving with the top down. Clean carpeted trunk
compartment with full spare and very clean undercarriage featuring
dual exhaust that sounds great. Orignal posi was repalced with open
rear end when transmission was redone. Always maintained and
garaged by the owner since 1995, this is a very solid driving and
great looking Corvette that has been driven regularly and enjoyed.
