1965 Corvair
RARE RARE FACTORY AIR
I have been a Private Classic Car Collector for 40+ years (Over 250 Cars) and know a “Real Car” when I see one and this Corvair qualifies. With just 79,700 miles (1,400 miles per year) it has obviously led a very easy life. My collecting knowledge makes me believe the mileage is ORIGINAL.
This Corvair is a first year Monza Sport Sedan (4 Door Hardtop) produced only from 1965-1967.
Rare FACTORY AIR was just completely refurbished including changing over to R34. Included are records of over $3,500 spent, during the past 3 years on maintenance, replacement or repair of anything needing attention.The car has always been professionally maintained under my ownership. I can think of no reason this car could not be driven any distance at this time. (I like to drive my cars). Car was born in Texas and stayed there until going North to a collector in the early 2000’s. I purchased it from his estate and had it shipped here to South Florida where I added it to my private collection. Ownership records come with the car. This car has many Factory Options including: FACTORY AIR (under 3% had it), Padded Dash, AM/FM Radio, Right and Left Rear View Mirrors, Back Up Lights, 2 Speed Windshield Washers with washer, Mag Wheelcovers (only available ‘65-67) and more.
This Corvair is 100% matching numbers, including the Factory Air, The optional 110 HP engine, the original Regal Red Paint, the Red Interior, etc. The car has NEVER HAD RUST or Body damage. The chrome is all original and in excellent condition with no pitting.
