Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: This girl is an incredible survivor body. No major dents or rust on the body, besides the few pops and a little surface rust, there is none to be found. The paint is about 6 years old and I'd call it a solid 20 footer. There are a few small pops on the hood and trunk lid. The front of the hood and front fenders have some small consistent pitting. The bodylines are all straight and overall she looks great! The driver door closes easily and solid. The passenger door needs some adjusting, it takes a good solid swing to stay shut.
- Interior: The leather seats looks nice. One small rip in the shoulder of the driver seat. The passenger and back seats are very clean. Thunderbird floor mats cover a nice newer carpet kit. The door panels need a little TLC. We do have the replacement panels boxed in the trunk along with the gas pedal and a few other small trim pieces.
- Glass/Windows: All the glass is in great shape. No cracks or major scratches. The windows roll up and down easily. The passenger rear window crank is missing but easily replaced.
- Trunk/Bed: Trunk is in great condition. Nice original style trunk cover/mat. Comes with matching spare tire cover as well. The paint under the trunk lid has some cracking around the weather stripping but under the lid looks clean.
- Undercarriage: The underneath of this vehicle is very clean. Some older undercoating is peeling off but otherwise no issues. The floor pans, fender wells, rockers and frame are sharp, no rust anywhere underneath.
- Wheels/Tires: Older whitewall tires have some weather rot but still have a good amount of tread. Matching original Thunderbird hubcaps all around.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 390 V8 fires right up at the turn of a key. She's a little cold in the morning but doesn't take long to warm up. There is a squeak that comes and goes as she runs; could just be a belt or could be the alternator or water pump. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears!
- Lights/Electrical: All the headlights, taillights, brake lights, and even the horn are functional. Turn signals appear ro be out. Interior cabin lights still shine. All the gauges are hooked up and working as well. Wiper do work as well, they run off the vacuum.
- Brakes: Power brakes are a little spongy at first but then stop strong and straight.
- Power Options: Power steering and power brakes!
