Two (2) owners, Southern California blue plate 911SC, finished in
its original color combination of Light Blue Metallic with a Beige
interior. Porsche | Audi Santa Cruz initially delivered it to the
first owner, Mr. Pavelicevich, on October 23, 1980, with 233 miles
on the odometer. Dealer-installed options include Blaupunkt 2001,
Bra Cover, Car Cover, and Plush Mats.
The Light Blue Metallic paintwork is original, displaying a nice
patina, with great gaps and panel fit. The upholstery is
well-preserved, featuring a newly installed dashboard and
reupholstered Targa top. The VDM steering wheel has been rewrapped
in leather and is complemented by VDO instrumentation, an original
Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette radio, and a cold factory air conditioning
system. Fuchs alloy wheels are fitted with Continental Extreme
Contact 205/55ZR15 Front and 225/50ZR16 Rear tires (2024). The
undercarriage remains in exceptional original condition and is
solid and rust-free.
This 911SC has been meticulously serviced and has been consistently
driven each year. According to the documentation on file, the
original owner sold the vehicle to the second owner on December 20,
1983, following an inspection conducted by Porsche | Audi
Sunnyvale. Under the second owner, the 911 received services by the
Porsche dealer until 1994, then serviced by Porsche specialists
based in Southern California. On January 12, 2001, at 92,426 miles,
Ray Stephens Automotive was engaged to rebuild the transmission,
incorporating all new gears, synchros, and gaskets. During this
process, the clutch assembly was replaced, the ignition switch was
replaced, the cam tower oil lines were replaced, and the motor was
resealed. On August 2, 2022, at 97,639 miles, Daniel's Speed Shop
replaced the fuel tank, fuel accumulator, fuel level sending unit,
fuel pump, and rebuilt the warm-up regulator. In 2024, European
Collectibles acquired the 911SC. In preparation for its sale, a new
dash was installed, the wheels were refinished, new tires were
installed, the air condition system was serviced, and the engine
was tuned.
Mechanically powered by its 3.0L flat-six engine producing 180hp at
5,500 rpm with 175 ft/lbs torque at 4,200 rpm paired to a 5-speed
manual transmission and four-wheel disc brakes. Complete with two
keys, original purchase invoice, spare wheel, car cover, and 44
years of service history. An excellent opportunity to acquire a
well-maintained 911SC offered in the factory color combination.
