The Plymouth GTX was the top of the heap for full-size muscle cars
from the Mopar lineup, and this one is sure to please! The car has
a documented 42,499 ACTUAL MILES and has had a full restoration,
with documentation and photos. This car comes with boxes of
documentation, extra parts, a full set of service manuals, and
more! It even includes posters, banners, and signs to use at car
shows to let everyone know how rare this car is. It shares a body
with the Road Runner and Satellite in Mopar's lineup.
It is the correct Blue Fire Metallic paint, with the Blue interior.
It also features bucket seats, center console, cruise control,
remote trunk popper in the glovebox, and AM radio with 8-track
player with included 8-tracks! The factory AM radio has been
retained but rebuilt to feature AM/FM, Bluetooth, and a USB port.
That work was done by Barry's 8-track in Arizona. Virtually the
entire interior was restored and replaced during the restoration
making it like new throughout. The driver's seat is a 6-way manual
bucket seat.
Under the hood is a date code correct RB series 440 CID V8 that is
stock and correct. It is mated to a 727 Torqueflite 3-speed
automatic transmission. The engine casting number is 2536430, which
is correct for this car. We have photos of all engine numbers,
transmission numbers, and rear end numbers we could find.
This Mopar muscle car is loaded with options under the hood as
well, including A/C, power steering, and power brakes! The 440 has
been fitted with ceramic coated exhaust manifolds which run to a 3"
exhaust with H-pipe and mufflers. This GTX has a fantastic exhaust
note!
The factory Magnum 500 wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GTII
radial raised white letter tires, including a full-size spare in
the trunk. The trunk is restored as well with a correct trunk mat,
jack, and jacking instructions sticker on the trunk lid. The
restoration on this Plymouth was done over the course of more than
10 years and was finished in 2008. It has been stored in a
climate-controlled garage and never driven in inclement weather
since being restored and it shows! It has been driven right at
4,000 miles since restored, including the 1-hour drive to our
showroom at highway speeds with the A/C blowing! This car has a
clean and clear Florida title showing the ACTUAL mileage, and is
ready to be the center of attention in any collection!
