Vehicle Description
1991 Honda Prelude 4WS SI, B21A1 engine, 5 speed manual. The last
year of the third gen Preludes. The only generation with the
mechanical 4 wheel steering. Initially the rear wheels follow the
fronts to 1.8 degrees to allow for less body yaw while switching
lanes at speed. But at low speed the rear wheels go opposite of the
fronts up to 5 degrees to allow tighter turn radius which makes it
very easy to park. The 4 wheel steering, double wishbone suspension
and light weight make it handle very well regardless of its low
powered engine. Clean title it was a weekend car, have driven it
since 2018 but has only seen 3 winters here so far. Fresh oil
change just done. Regularly done about every 6k miles. New battery
swapped a couple of months ago. Alternator and fuel pump replaced
about 4k miles ago. Thermostat replaced about 5k miles ago. Cold
air intake done by previous owner, wanted to revert it back to
stock but you'll only find the OEM plastic intake pipes and filter
box out of a donor car. Adjustable coilovers put by previous owner.
Car runs and stops. But it needs new shocks and brakes. So the ride
is jumpy and brakes aren't the best. Rust ate the exhaust away so I
sawed it off at the downpipe right before the cat, but headers are
clean of rust. So it is also loud. There's rust on the side skirts
and rear quarter panels as seen in the side pictures. No other
rusting spots aside from the exhaust mentioned. Interior is in good
condition. All powered windows work but right side and sunroof are
starting to struggle. AC compressor is not working but fan heating
and cooling work. Including a set of 4 Motegi MR7 17' rims on
Yokohama Parada 205/45 summer tires. Car has Mastercraft LSR 195/65
on 15' steelies with plenty of tread left. Please Note The
