This 1968 Triumph TR250 is powered by a rebuilt 2.5-liter
inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and it is
finished in Red which is complemented by a beautiful, Tan leather
interior. Equipment includes a new tan vinyl, convertible top, new
15" knock-off chrome wire wheels mounted with brand new Coker
Classic Redline tires; she also has power-assisted front disc
brakes. Work under current ownership has totaled nearly $15k, This
TR250 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner
with the owner's manual, service records, a BMIHT certificate, and
a clean Massachusetts title in the current owner's name.
The car was factory-finished in Valencia Blue and features, TR250
badging, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome-finished bumpers with
overriders. An independent suspension was stock from the factory
and the rear suspension has been upgraded to tube shocks. The
interior features low-back bucket seats newly upholstered in
leather with red piping as well as new color-coordinated door
panels, and carpets. Interior upgrades include a new wood dashboard
trim, lockable glovebox, a heater, seatbelts and door-panel map
pockets.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation
including a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while gauges for
coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are
located in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows
63.5k miles, approximately 2000 of which were added under current
ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The rebuilt 2.5-liter inline-six was factory equipped with two
Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 104 horsepower and
143 lb-ft of torque when new. Work under current ownership
included: rear end rebuild, new chrome wire wheels and redline
tires, upgraded rear suspension, Complete new leather interior, a
new vinyl convertible top and a new premium dashboard. Service

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual
transmission. The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate
lists factory specifications and a date of dispatch of January 19,
1968. This car is being offered at a price commensurate with its
