This ’56 is equipped with an upgraded drivetrain including a crate 350 V8 with a a freshly rebuilt 3 speed manual transmission, and all the creature comforts to make it an excellent cruiser. Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the car is flat out stunning, the vehicle is finished in high gloss, two tone Matador red and adobe beige paint, the paint on the car is show quality as is the chrome, trim, and everything else. The body fit on the car is excellent, the car is laser straight. The stainless trim is excellent and all the chrome and stainless hardware is in excellent shape. The vehicle is equipped with a like new set of chrome Riddler wheels with like new tires (both with less than 2,000 miles on them), the car is set up with 18’s in the rear and 17’s in the front, it has a great look. This is the hardtop version of the ’56 which adds to the sporty appearance with the clean hardtop look. This ’56 is ready to go cruising and will stand out amongst the crowd. Interior Highlights:
The interior of the ’56 is very cool with the stock bench seat covered in red and white original material. This vehicle is equipped with vintage AC and Heat. This vehicle is super comfortable and has all the features you would want, on top of AC and Heat the car has power steering, and power front disc brakes. The entire interior is show quality including the headliner, seat covers, trim, carpet, door panels, everything. The car has an awesome steering column with an excellent original wheel, and yes the horn functions as it should. The car is equipped with a retro-radio with CD player under the seat, it also has a power antenna. The car is equipped with a driver side mirror. All of the interior hardware is in excellent shape. The dash on the car loaded with style and has a full compliment of gauges including speedometer, fuel level, and water temperature. Every detail in the build of this car was taken care of.
Mechanical Highlights:
Mechanically this car is equipped a crate 350/325 horsepower GM small block motor that starts and runs perfectly, the engine and rear end have 2,000 miles on them. The engine is fitted with an Edelbrock AVS2 Carb on an aluminum speed warrior intake. The vehicle has a professionally rebuilt 3-speed with overdrive with 200 miles on it, the overdrive is inoperable but all components are in place. The engine is show quality with billet valve covers, air cleaner housing, and chrome alternator. The vehicle is equipped with power steering and power front disk brakes. The rear end was rebuilt from hub to hub with 3:55 gear with posi. The vehicle has 2” drop spindles and 2” lowering blocks in the rear end to give it a great stance. This car starts, runs, drives, and stops without issue. This is a super sharp ’56 you can get in and enjoy from day one and have an unbelievably sharp vehicle.
