Vehicle Description
Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 2016 Chevrolet Corvette
Stingray Z51 coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. Since
its introduction in 2014, the Corvette Stingray has proven time and
again to be one of the most powerful, most performance-driven, most
track-capable Corvettes of all time. As Chevy prepped for the
arrival of the '16 Corvette Stingray, there was little to no doubt
that the car's third-year offerings would only continue to enhance
a car that was already at the peak of what a Corvette could, and
should, become.
The cockpit features seats upholstered in Adrenaline Red perforated
leather with red stitching, as well as jet black matching
dashboard, door panels, and storage console cover. Amenities
include 1LT performance data and video recorder with Navigation,
front and rearview cameras, an electronic tilt and telescopic
steering column, and a 10-speaker Bose surround-sound system. The
flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel is flanked by paddle
shifters and fronts an analog 200-mph speedometer and a
customizable LED gauge cluster. The digital odometer indicates
27,798k miles.
The car is finished in Arctic White (G8G) and features removable
body color and carbon fiber roof panels. Additional exterior
details include a vented carbon-fiber hood with black accents,
xenon headlights, a Carbon Flash-painted rear lip spoiler and
mirror housings, and a quartet of 4? polished stainless-steel
exhaust tips. Split five-spoke wheels measuring 19? up front and
20? in the rear are finished in black and wear 245/35 front and
295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Stopping power is
provided by red calipers over slotted rotors at all four corners.
The Z51 Performance Package includes specific shocks, springs, and
28mm stabilizer bars.
The 6.2-liter LT1 V8 features dry-sump lubrication and was factory
rated at 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. BUT this one has
had some upgrades done by Cordes Performance in Tempe, Arizona.
Upgrades include a pro charger kit with P1X head unit, ARH headers,
LS9 map, Might Mouse catch can, CPR LTX cam kit, wet sump, C5R
timing chain, ATI balancer, ARP head studs, LT4 head gaskets, and
Circle D converter. These upgrades alone totaled over $20K. Dyno
tune came back at 675.23. Power is sent to the rear wheels through
an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an electronic limited-slip
differential. The Z51 package includes both transaxle and
differential coolers.
