Vehicle Description
1953 was the first year of "America's Sports Car", the Corvette.
The original 1953 Corvette looked beautiful, but it was lacking in
the performance department. Its straight 6 "Blue Flame" engine,
2-speed automatic transmission and drum brakes did not make it go
as fast as it looked. In the 1980s, Classic Sports Cars from Holly
Hill, Florida decided to make a replica of the iconic 1953
Corvette, but with an updated drivetrain.
This replica drives better and has more power than Chevrolet could
ever dream of in 1953. It is stylishly painted in white with a tan
interior and cloth top which are complemented with red steel
wheels, 1955 Chevrolet-style hub caps and wide-whitewall tires. The
driver of this Corvette is treated to an AM/FM radio, tilt steering
column, Grant GT wood-rimmed steering wheel, floor shifter and a
full set of quality VDO gauges.

Under the hood is a smooth-running 350 cubic Chevrolet engine mated
to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine features
finned aluminum valve covers, a QuadraJet 4-barrel carburetor and a
chrome open-element air cleaner. The suspension system is from a
Camaro (independent in the front and leaf springs in the rear) and
has power steering, as well as power brakes with discs up front. No
1953 Corvette ever drove as nice as this car.
This is a very rare find. To be able to have all the classic looks
of the original Corvette, but with the modern drivetrain and
suspension of a newer car is a dream come true. If you love classic
Corvettes, this 1953 Corvette Replica presents a rare opportunity
to own something very special. Call today!
