1961 Pontiac Catalina Convertible with a 389 tri power and automatic transmission. Car has 8 lug wheels and also is a factory A/C car. Runs and drives like you would expect a full size car to handle and it does not rattle anywhere. With the top down this car cruises as quiet as a 2 door sedan. New boot over convertible top and a new dual power brake master cylinder with the drum brakes that create the 8 lug wheels. Car has been garage kept since I acquired it and driven very little but it has been on a cruise of over 300 miles to a show and a weekend away with no issues and was very comfortable to drive. 389 is the lower HP tri power motor built in 1961 but has plenty of power and runs smooth. Great parade car that does not overheat even in 100 degree temperatures. Paint is a burgundy color that was called Coronado Red from the factory and in good shape. Top is white and as the pictures show in very good shape. I usually leave the top down and only put it up in the winter and then cover the car. Cover is included in the purchase to cover in your garage. Tires are in like new shape and have very little wear and I believe were new when I bought the car. They are Hankook radials. Take time to look at the photos included as that will give you a sense of the car and the condition.
