This 1985 Chevy K20 Scottsdale Flatbed Pickup is a really cool,
clean 3/4 ton squarebody that spent its life in California. The
last owner kept this truck well maintained because he used often
for cruising around in Northern California. It is a very well
sorted truck that runs and drives excellent and is ready to go. The
body is clean and straight. In 2017 he had an aluminum flatbed with
headache rack and side storage compartments installed. The truck
was originally a solid color of Doeskin and was repainted before
the last owner purchased the truck. More recently he added the
White paint for a cool two tone paint scheme. At that time he added
new side moldings. The underside of this truck is super clean and
we found no rust issues with this vehicle.
The interior is also really nice with the seat being reupholstered,
a new dash cover, and new dash bezel. The door panels and rubber
floor mat appear to be original and are still in good condition.
The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. This has manual windows that work
great. It also has tilt wheel. The windshield wipers and the horn
work. The heat and Ac also work.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. There has been a lot of time
and money spent on the mechanicals. The engine is a GM Goodwrench
5.7L 350 V8 that runs strong with no issues or red flags that we
found. They added custom dual flowmaster exhaust that sounds great.
It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock Carb. It received
a full tune up, new distributor, new starter, new alternator, and
new fuel pump. They added an aluminum radiator with all new coolant
hoses. It has new power steering hoses, new belts, and the AC
system was completely redone with all new parts. It is R134a. At
that time they replaced the blower motor. The transmission is the
700R4 Automatic that was rebuilt and shifts nice. It is mated to
the np208 transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear
axle is a Corporate 14 Bolt with 3.73 gears and a limited slip. The
front axle is a Corporate 10 Bolt with 3.73 gears. The truck also
received a 4" all spring lift with new Bilstein shocks. The rear
brakes were recently redone with new wheel cylinders, drums, and
shoes. This is all sitting on a nice set of factory wheels with
hubcaps and a new set of Cooper Discover ATS tires size
285/75/16.
