For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet C10 in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Wow, what a first class truck! The rich color and forged wheels on the outside compliment the saddle leather custom interior inside. The LS motor, overdrive automatic and a/c make it an amazing driver. The fully adjustable QA1 suspension is responsible for its perfect stance.

EXTERIOR: High quality body and paint work! It is laser straight no rust or damage, painted a rich deep burgundy with metal flake that gives nice highlights. It is polished smooth like glass. All the chrome and trim has been replaced. The emblems were removed and filled for a clean look. The fuel filler was relocated and filled. New glass with a tint applied. LED light conversion all around the truck. It has a great lowered stance sitting on Billet Specialties forged wheels. There are wearing 19 inch performance Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

INTERIOR: This may be my favorite part of the truck! Open the door and you can smell the genuine leather. It's a very rich looking saddle color throughout, obviously done to a meticulous standard. The sport bucket seats are very comfortable, there's a custom made console in the center with a finished compartment and two cupholders. The custom door panels look amazing and the headliner matches too. The carpet is premium Mercedes square loop that was custom cut and has leather bound edges. The dash area is pristine with a full set of custom gauges including a clock and tachometer. It uses a push button starter on the dash after hitting the power locks on the key fob. The heater control panel uses electric slides instead of cables. A beautiful wood rimmed billet steering wheel is on a tilt column with a billet shift handle. Down low it also has billet pedals. The stereo is hidden in the console. Retractable 3 point seatbelts were added.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Texas Speed LS motor with a fabricated intake manifold, 102 mm throttle body, custom intake tube and Doug Thorley headers. The front of the motor has a billet runner system with polished brackets, pulleys, Powermaster alternator and modern power steering and it's all run with a serpentine belt. It is dressed in old school style valve covers. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps it running cool. It also features power brakes. It is very detailed, it's show quality. All the metal surfaces are painted neatly. Stainless hardware was used and it has a real nice set of billet hinges.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed is beautiful to. Painted slick like the outside, it has fatter wheel wells for the wide tires. Down on the floor is refinished golden oak with stainless strips. The flush mount fuel filler was relocated to the floor.

UNDERSIDE: Up front it has a QA1 adjustable suspension with tubular control arms, coilover gas shocks, swaybar, and adjustable tie rods. The steering is all new. It has a fully adjustable QA1 rear suspension which includes coilover gas shocks relocated closer to the wheels for better handling, dual panhard bar, linked swaybar and adjustable control arms. Custom made stainless steel exhaust with Borla Pro XS mufflers. A custom fuel tank was relocated under the bed. The brake system was completely upgraded with disc at all four wheels and a custom e-brake system. Looking up at the LS motor it has an aluminum oil pan and a high torque starter. The trans is a 4L80E overdrive automatic. A rebuilt driveshaft leads back to the 12 bolt rear end. Under this truck looks new, it's detailed!

SERVICE: Our shop did their inspection and fixed the reverse lights, horn and turn signal. We installed a neutral safety switch, a new window crank and a battery. We also tightened the swaybar links.

This truck is a class act! Rich colors and finishes throughout. It's a show piece, but please drive it! It is a pleasure to be cruising in this comfortable and reliable truck.
