Offered here is an outstanding example of a 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead Coupe` Coachwork by H.J. Mulliner, vin # LSAE 499. Built to North American specification and delivered new to its first owner Mr. V.G. Cardy in Montreal, Canada. The second owner, Mr. James J. Reeves. of Pensacola, Florida, U.S.A. acquired the car on the 6th of November 1972. It changed hands again on the 10th of October 1974, when sold to RR franchise dealer, Carriage House Motor Cars of NYC (now located in Greenwich, CT). In 2006 it was exported to Spain and then sold to Mr. Thierry De. Haeck of Ypres, Belgium, who had the engine and transmission completely overhauled by European specialists in 2019.
This Drophead Coupe was then acquired by the present owner in October, 2022 from Bonhams Belgium and shipped to Florida, U.S.A. There the car received a thorough bumper-to-bumper evaluation and upgrade by RR specialist, Executive Motor Works of Boca Raton. Work included:

Only 107 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II dropheads were produced, with 74 being left hand drive and 33 being right hand drive. In 1962 this car retailed for $37,620 when a Ferrari GTO cost $18,000 and a Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was a mere $7,401!
