For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Nova in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Where do I start! This is a pro built, pro touring that looks the part and performs amazing with all the upgrades. You want to be the top dog; I think this will do it!

EXTERIOR: Tough stance and a slick body! A metal cowl hood was added. They cleaned up the body by shaving the rain gutters, filling in all the emblems, fuel door and trunk lock. It is laser beam straight and the midnight black paint is polished like a mirror. It has flush mounted front and rear windows, all smoked glass. Up front the grill, trim and bumper were replaced. In back the bumper and taillights were replaced. The stance and wheels are a big part of what makes this car so cool. It rolls on a set of Schotts wheels, extra wide in back!

INTERIOR: The interior was recently completely redone. The sport seats are covered in 2 tone leather and decorated with stainless eyelets. The backseat is custom contoured and upholstered to the front. The door panels and headliner are custom made with nice details. The console is also fabricated from scratch with a compartment, a/c controls along with a cool 6-speed shifter sticking out. Down on the floor is premium square weave carpet. The dash is entirely custom with Speedhut gauges with a GPS speedometer showing 3,575 miles since the car was finished. Next to that is touch screen stereo system, there are 6x9 speakers in the custom rear shelf.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is what blew me away, a supercharged LS motor in a little Nova! It looks pretty cool too. It is a 6.0L LS-6 making 590 hp with a polished Magnusun supercharger on top. The air intake is custom made along with the valve covers that has the name of the shop that built the car. There's a set of Edelbrock headers on each side. It has a March front runner system with billet brackets pulleys alternator, a/c compressor and modern power steering sound by a serpentine belt. A Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps it running cool. It has hard radiator hoses with shrink clamps. The power brake system is chrome. The engine bay is cleaned up metal painted gloss black and there are tubular support bars to help prevent body twist.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a remote trunk opener and under the trunk lid is painted gloss black. Inside is boxed and upholstered, it has a carpeted floor with an access door to the fuel tank. Hidden behind the panel is the battery and stereo equipment.

UNDERSIDE: Underneath has a complete custom chassis. Upfront is a Heidts Super Ride ll with rack & pinion steering, tubular control arms, coilover adjustable gas shocks. Frame connectors tie the front to the back to prevent body twist. In back is a 4 link system with a mini subframe, polished tubular control arms, a panhard bar and coilover adjustable gas shocks. Custom stainless fuel tank with compatible components for fuel injection. Custom brake system with drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four wheels, polished calipers, and custom e-brake assembly. Stainless exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and turn down tips at the rear end. Looking up at the motor it has an aluminum oil pan, high torque starter and a heavy-duty bell housing. The T-56 Tremec 6-speed manual has a new hydraulic Center Force clutch. A custom drive shaft leads back to a narrowed 12 bolt rear with 3.73 posi and aluminum cover. The floors are clean metal painted gloss black. There are remote battery terminals under the car in case you can't get in the trunk.

SERVICE: Our shop thoroughly inspected the car, and we fixed the reverse lights, replaced the clutch, cut the flywheel, adjusted the glovebox, fixed the turn signals, charged the A/C and fixed leak, installed horns, fixed a power steering leak and lubed the door hinges.

Amazing! This Nova is hot! I get great pleasure just looking at it or sitting in it. Then once you fire it up and let out that clutch, forget just looking at it! This is a $200,000 build or more today. It's ready now!
