If the Electric Blue paint doesn't shock you the built 502 engine
will! Less than 1,000 miles since the ground up restoration. Fuel
injected! New 4 speed! Air conditioning! Pro touring suspension!
Completely stripped down and reassembled with all new parts 2 years
ago. All the time and money has already been spent rebuilding this
classic. Now it's time for you to turn some heads and snap some
necks!
EXTERIOR: The Electric Blue paint is extremely vibrant and slick as
could be. It was applied with great detail then polished to a
reflective and smooth finish. The white racing stripes were applied
under the clear coat. Looking down the side of the body it is nice
and straight with smooth contours and crisp lines. The big heavy
doors close easily with minimal effort. All the glass has been
replaced and it has new rubber seals and fuzzy strips too. The
bright work has a lustrous shine and it has the correct polished
exhaust tips too. The front grille and headlight bezels are painted
the same color as the body. It's equipped with dual mirrors. It has
the perfect stance that is tastefully lowered and is sitting on 18"
Retro chrome mags wrapped in Hankook radial tires.
INTERIOR: Virtually everything is new! The headliner and visors
were replaced. The dash pad and instrument panel are new. It has a
set of new factory gauges including a tachometer. Only 696 miles on
the odometer since the car was finished. It has a digital stereo
and an electronic Vintage Air climate control. The Holley Sniper
EFI controller is neatly mounted. It has a tilt column and a sharp
looking aftermarket Grant steering wheel. The door panels have been
replaced. The Procar sport seats are a very nice upgrade, and they
recline too. We put in a new center console, and it has a very nice
Hurst 4 speed shifter. The back seat is in great shape and is
equipped with seatbelts. The rear shelf has aftermarket 6x9
speakers nicely mounted. The carpeting is brand new, and it has
embroidered Chevelle floormats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Lift the functioning steel cowl induction hood
and smile! The built 502 is impressive to say the least. It's been
retrofitted with a Holley Sniper fuel injection system sitting on
top of an aluminum Winters intake manifold with the stamped
snowflake logo. It is flanked by billet aluminum spark plug wire
holders and long tube headers. It also has a billet aluminum
serpentine drive system. It's equipped with air conditioning, power
steering, and power brakes that has a new Willwood master cylinder.
It also has a MSD distributor and a digital 6al box. It was rewired
and everything is meticulously routed. The radiator was upgraded to
an aluminum unit that has dual electric fans. It has a remote oil
filter. The battery is properly secured. The underside of the hood
is painted Electric Blue. The firewall and fender wells have been
painted black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are
neatly painted blue. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside the
trunk pan metal is nice and solid with a spatter finish paint.
There's also a stereo amplifier mounted inside.
UNDERSIDE: Fresh and clean with only 700 miles since a detailed
restoration! The entire steering system was rebuilt. It has fat
front and rear sway bars with new bushings. Up front has tubular
control arms plus new gas shocks and lowering springs. Out back is
totally rebuilt too with a Hotchkis kit including trailing arms,
swaybar, gas shocks, and lowering springs. It has four-wheel power
disc brakes, and the emergency brake is hooked up. Long tube
headers with an 02 sensor lead back to fat exhaust pipes complete
with dual Dynomax mufflers. The gas tank has been replaced and it
has an external electric pump plus new lines. Looking up at the
motor it has a high-capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. The
new Autogear 4 speed manual transmission is a Muncie reproduction
and has a fresh mount too. It was upgraded with a new aluminum
drive shaft. The 12 bolt posi rear end also looks like new. The
frame and floors were both refinished with neatly applied black
paint.
SERVICE: Our lead mechanic thoroughly inspected this car and we
repaired the backup lights, installed a new center console, charged
the air conditioning, installed a horn and relay, installed a
wipers switch and motor, mounted a headlight dimmer switch,
installed a volt gauge, replaced the ashtray and springs, repaired
the cowl door, and replaced the exhaust tips.
This is a high energy showstopper! You will be shocked by the
performance and build quality, but not the price tag!
