Only 730 miles since a high end meticulous build! Supercharged 540
big block! It was estimated at a nearby custom shop this would cost
$175,000-$200,000 to duplicate! This stunner is set up to hit the
streets and hit the shows. Turn some heads, snap some necks and
have some fun!
EXTERIOR: Now if that isn't bad ass! The engine is almost as tall
as the roof! The Deep Impact Blue over Silverstone paint job is top
quality. It was applied with extreme attention to detail then
polished to a smooth and slick finish. Tasteful hand painted
pinstriping accentuates the custom two tone paint. Looking do the
side of the 100% laser straight body you will notice crisp lines
and smooth contours. The side emblems were removed for an even
sleeker look. All the panels are expertly aligned with consistent
gaps that rival a new Mercedes. The doors open with minimal effort
and virtually close themselves. Up front it has a show quality
chrome bumper, a mint GM grill and modern headlights with the turn
signals built in. All the glass is smoked, not tinted. It also has
dual side mirrors. The stance is adjusted just right and it's
sitting on a set of polished Mickey Thompson wheels wrapped in M/T
tires; 24x5 15" fronts and ginormous 29x18 15" out back.
INTERIOR: When sitting in the custom wrapped low back seats you
will notice the side bar for the roll cage is lowered giving easy
access to the driver and passenger. The seats themselves are
comfortable with ample support. Between them is a custom mounted
TCI ratchet shifter. Custom door panels matching the seats also
have integrated armrests and billet levers. The dash pad has been
replaced and the remaining dash was custom painted and hand
pinstriped. An aftermarket gauge bezel has been adorned with Auto
Meter Pro-Comp gauges. A shift light, boost retard, and toggle
switches for the electric fan and fuel pump are neatly mounted
under the dash. Behind your seat is all business, housing the rest
of the custom roll cage and huge wheel tubs plus everything is
custom carpeted and upholstered. The headliner and carpet were also
replaced and even the dome light works.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Boy, if this isn't intimidating, I don't know
what is! A 540 big block with a polished Weiand blower, dual
blacked out 750 Quick Fuel carbs and a polished scoop sitting as
high as the roof! Internally it has 8.5:1 blower pistons plus Comp
Cams camshaft and push rods. It also has a complete hydraulic
roller set up. Bolted to the block is a set of Jet Hot coated
headers, aluminum Brodix ported heads and a set of polished vintage
style M/T valve covers. It gets its spark from a trusty 6-AL MSD
ignition system. So, this monster of a motor is set up to be
driven, a smaller pulley on the blower can make over 1,000
horsepower. But make no mistake, in this configuration there is
still enough power to scare the hell out of your passengers! The
engine is full of polished parts and is highly detailed, it's like
looking at mechanical jewelry!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: A custom prop rod holds the lid up. Under the
trunk lid and inside the jam are painted slick just like the body.
All the hardware is new including the latch. Inside is pristine,
plus it's all custom boxed and carpeted. It now contains the fuel
cell, external fuel pump, and battery in a custom enclosure.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront is a TCI tubular sub frame painted body color,
complete with a modern rack & pinion steering and tubular control
arms with polished QA-1 adjustable coil over shocks. A welded in
custom frame has been integrated and a completely custom back half
was constructed to accommodate the ginormous tires. The rear
suspension consists of a 4 link system with tubular control arms,
with triangulated bar and QA-1 coil over shocks. Aero Space disc
brakes at all 4 wheels with polished billet calipers and massive
rotors. Complete custom-built exhaust system. Looking up at the
body color motor it has an extra capacity oil pan, high torque
starter and a chrome flywheel cover. The tough built Turbo 400
automatic has a Hughes 3500 stall, reverse manual valve body, deep
sump pan, and a remote cooler. In back is a fully rebuilt 8 3/4
rear end painted to match the car with reinforced backbone and 4.10
posi gears. The floors are pristine with an even coat of satin
black paint.
SERVICE: We ran this car through our shop and the only thing they
noticed is the speedometer was 10 mph fast. It is extremely dialed
in!
The perfect blend of show and go! Boasting top quality paint and
performance this Pro Street Nova has the best of everything built
into a very attractive and street friendly package. It all makes
sense; it would cost more than double the asking price to replicate
and it only has 730 miles since completion. This car is so nice we
keep it in a private garage, not displayed in our showroom. It's
gonna sell just as fast as it takes off the line, so don't think
twice!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
