For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

RS-SS or Real Sleak-Super Sexy! This one knocks it out of the park with it's looks! The colors, wheels, stance, and features set it apart from all the others. It's been all done from the ground up to high quality standards. Lots of custom touches, so pay attention to the details here. So classy and tough at the same time!

EXTERIOR: This custom Camaro has got the look and stance. The paint has been laid out with expert precision, then polished to a mirror like finish. Seriously, I could shave in the reflection. All the panels have been meticulously aligned with gaps that are very consistent and well above average. The cowl hood and spoilers really enhance the profile. Shaving the door handles and removing all the factory emblems makes it look even more slick. It has a remote key fob to pop the doors electronically. Dual sport mirrors are a much appreciated upgrade and the driver's side is remote. It was enhanced with a Detroit Speed electric headlight door conversion and LED lamps. The front grille looks like new, and all the chrome has been rechromed. The rear taillights also look like new. It's sitting in 17" Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Nitto performance tires that are extra wide in back. The billet taillight and marker light bezels are pretty sweet too.

INTERIOR: This custom interior really pops! Full custom and very comfortable. It has genuine glovesoft leather upholstery on the seats. The sport front buckets recline and have seat extenders so a tall person can easily fit. The rear seat matches the front. It also has a custom center console with cup holders, armrest and storage compartment. The original staple shifter is a very nice touch in this custom interior. The door panels have been recovered to match the rest of the interior and have custom molded armrests and billet levers. It has a matching dash pad and a custom faux wood gauge bezel that is adorned with a very attractive matching set of brushed AutoMeter gauges. It's also equipped with modern electric climate control by Vintage Air and a modern stereo too. It was further upgraded with a tilt column and custom billet steering wheel. The headliner, visors, and carpet have all been replaced and even the custom modern dome light is working.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Picture perfect! It has a super cool custom 1 off air induction system that really gives the engine bay a contemporary look. Underneath is a Chevy 350 V8 that is flanked by bowtie spark plug wire holders and a pair of long tube headers. A March front runner system spins the polished Vintage Air heat and a/c system, chrome alternator and power steering pump. The master cylinder was upgraded to a Wilwood unit that has a proportioning valve too. The steering gearbox was also upgraded. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator thar has dual electric fans and is nicely concealed under a custom fabricated panel. Other upgrades include a Detroit Speed delay wiper motor plus very fancy strut assisted billet aluminum hinges that are chromed. The underside of the steel cowl induction hood, fender wells and firewall are painted tuxedo black just like the body. The original trim tag is also in place.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the lid has been upholstered with the same material as the interior. The jamb was painted slick just like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced. The remainder of the trunk has all been boxed, upholstered, and carpeted. The battery has been relocated to the trunk behind the passenger side panel. What a beautifully finished trunk!

UNDERSIDE: Tons of upgrades! Global West front suspension with 2 inch drop spindles, tubular control arms and QA-1 coilover adjustable gas shocks. Rebuilt steering with Edelbrock adjustable tie rods. Tubular frame connectors tie the front to the back. In back it has tucked lowering leaf springs with zerk fittings on the bushings. It also has lowering blocks and QA-1 adjustable shocks. It has a polished fuel tank. Custom exhaust with h-pipe and Dynomax mufflers that dump at the rear end. Looking up at the motor it has a high torque starter, chrome oil pan and flywheel cover. The Turbo 350 automatic has a chrome pan. Upgraded Wilwood brake system with drilled and slotted disc at all 4 wheels. Custom aluminum driveshaft. It also has a 9" rear end that was powder coated and narrowed for the mini tubs and wide wheels. It has 3.70 posi gears. The floors are solid and rust free with neatly applied black paint.

SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this car and we replaced the heater valve, remounted the a/c condenser, rerouted the a/c drain, repaired the fan wiring, installed a glove box liner, installed some new knobs, modified the fuel sender, rewired some dash lights, rewired the radio, adjusted the trunk latch, installed turn down tailpipes, repaired a headlight motor, repaired the headlight wiring, repaired the remote mirror toggle, replaced the window rollers, adjusted the hood latch, and adjusted the coil overs.

They all look great, but this one rises to the top. All the boxes have been checked! All the time and build money has been spent! Now it's up to you to have some fun!
