- A small block Chevy 350 resides under the hood. A bullet proof engine with parts availability right off the shelf at your neighborhood parts store.
- A 700R4 automatic transmission was installed in place of the 3 speed manual and provides ease and passing power.
- Four wheel disc brakes to help with those distracted drivers we have today as opposed to 1947!
- A traditional Ford 9" rear axle was installed for better highway performance.
- Power Steering installed.
- Later GM steering column with tilt.

This car was a California car. Evident by a California issued serial number (see pics) and a California car club sticker on the windshield. We don't know how long the car has been in New England but judging by the underside, this car has never seen a speck of road salt! You can literally eat off the frame of this car. Just an all around great car, Vintage but improved. Leave it alone or bring it to another level. It's totally up to you. We love it just as is.
