There are few body styles from the 1930's that are as desirable as
the woody wagon. As desirable as the woody wagon is, there are only
a few shops, in the last few decades, capable of reproducing these
gorgeous woody wagons. Possibly the best known is Hercules Motor
Car Company of Tampa, FL. Hercules Motor Car Company was founded in
1973 and over the years has developed a reputation for building
high quality and hand-built wood-bodied street rods. Since 1973,
Hercules Motor Car Company has produced around 127 of these
handcrafted works of art, each equipped with steel bodies, custom
steel tube chassis, and some of the finest woodwork you have seen
on an automobile. This 1934 Ford Woody Wagon is an excellent
example of these extremely well built automobiles. This Woody Wagon
is an older build that has been very well preserved and still
presents fresh today. The Ford has been finished in a stunning
Laser Red Metallic exterior paint that shines very well and is in
excellent condition throughout. The hard maple woodwork throughout
the Ford presents in excellent condition with a brilliant finish.
Complimenting the Laser Red metallic exterior is the Ford's
polished front and rear bumpers, polished headlamp baskets, period
correct V8 emblems, Tan canvas top, polished rear luggage rack and
a set of polished U.S. Mag wheels wrapped in Uniroyal Tiger Paw
tires. The undercarriage of this Ford as received the same level of
detail as the topside and features a number of custom aesthetic
touches including: polished stainless steel gas tank, polished
Heidt's independent front suspension, painted TCI frame, polished
engine oil pan, polished transmission oil pan, polished torque
converter cover, body-color painted driveshaft, body-color painted
rear differential and underglow lighting. This 1934 Ford Woody
Wagon features a custom two-tone Red and Black leather interior
that is in excellent condition throughout. In the rear cargo area
of the Woody Wagon is a custom made, polished Birch wood floor with
stainless steel slats for an excellent show quality presentation.
The interior is nicely complimented throughout with exposed wood
paneling and an exposed wood slat ceiling. Powering this stunning
1934 Ford Woody Wagon is its small-block, 350 cubic inch V8 backed
by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and
transmission perform just as they should and have no problem
pulling this Ford down the road with ease. This Ford produces a
great exhaust note thanks to the small-block V8 breathing through a
set of powder-coated shorty headers feeding the custom stainless
steel dual exhaust system. This Ford Woody Wagon handles the road
very well thanks to a number of suspension upgrades including a
Heidts Superide polished stainless steel independent front
suspension, polished coilover shocks at all four corners, and
polished stainless steel 4-link rear suspension. This beautiful
Ford is very well equipped with features such as: polished tilt
steering column, Boss AM/FM/CD stereo w/ Bluetooth and Aux, power
steering, power front disc brakes, variable speed wipers, Vintage
Air air conditioning and heat, Lokar polished shifter, and CB
radio. If you are in the market for a market for a show-quality
1934 Ford Woody Wagon that is turn key ready for that weekend
cruise and would present very well at any cruise-in or car show,
then you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous
