Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1973 AMC
Javelin AMX. AMC hit the pony car market head on with the all-new
Javelin. Produced from 1968-1974, AMC was looking to steal some of
the market share from the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. The
Javelin was offered in a range of trims and engine options.
Spanning from an economical 238 six cylinder to a full-blown 401
V-8 muscle car. The second-generation Javelin was completely
redesigned. The car was designed to be lower, wider, longer, and
heavier than its predecessor. The most distinctive feature are the
buffalo front fenders. This 1973 AMC Javelin AMX is painted in
Pewter Silver Metallic accented with black striping on the hood. A
set of American Racing five-spoke alloy wheels add a finishing
touch. (Note: the original wheels are available upon request). The
special edition Pierre Cardin interior sports black cloth with
white, plum, and orange stripes across the front and rear seats,
doors, and headliner. An AM/FM radio, center console, and tilt
steering wheel are added interior features. Under the hood of this
beauty is a 401 V-8 attached to a four-speed manual transmission.
Power steering and power brakes make this 1973 AMC Javelin AMX
beautiful driver.
