Since it was first made available to the general consumer, the Jeep
has been highly sought after by collectors and offroad enthusiasts
alike. With their short wheelbase, very capable 4-wheel drive, and
removable doors and roof, it is easy to see why these Jeeps are the
machine of choice to do some serious off-roading. While many
collectors prefer to leave their Jeeps in stock form, many
enthusiasts see the Jeep as a blank canvas to turn into their
perfect weekend warrior. That is exactly what we have here in this
1974 Willys Jeep CJ-5. This CJ-5 benefits from a recent
driver-quality, frame-off restoration that still presents well and
is nicely documented by receipts from throughout the restoration
process. The Jeep's custom Orange Crush exterior shines very well
and is in overall good condition with only minor defects to note.
The Orange Crush exterior is nicely complimented by the CJ's custom
Black roll cage, Black vinyl bikini top, Black-painted factory
grill, custom front and rear steel bumpers, custom nerf steps
featuring Fender Stratocaster guitar cut-outs, custom Fender
Stratocaster rear taillight openings, polished factory-style
mirrors and Black painted DC wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich
All-Terrain T/A tires. This CJ-5 is equipped with a fully
functioning 12,000lb Badlands winch mounted to the front bumper.
The Jeeps Grey cloth interior is in very good condition throughout
and features a number of custom touches including custom Autometer
gauge set, polished tilt steering column, Orange Crush painted
Grant steering wheel, custom dash-mounted Fender Stratocaster
emblem, B&M Ratchet shifter, and custom wood center console.
Powering this great Jeep CJ-5 is its 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder
engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine
and transmission perform very well and have no problem pulling this
Jeep down the road. Adding the ease of handling of this Jeep is a
custom quad-shock front suspension. This Jeep CJ-5 is nicely
equipped with options such as: power steering, power front disc
brakes, 12,000lb bumper mounted winch, Kenwood AM/FM stereo with
Bluetooth and Aux, autometer gauges, auxiliary LED spot lights,
tilt steering, and electric wipers. Included with the sale of this
Jeep is a 5-layer car cover. If you are in the market for a nicely
restored and very unique Jeep CJ-5 that is turn-key ready to enjoy
and is sure to stand out at your local cruise-in or car show, then
you are not going to want to miss out on this awesome 1974 Jeep
CJ-5.
