recently acquired. We purchased this car from a local gentleman who
owned it for several years and just never had the time to drive it,
so it sat in his garage more than he could enjoy it. This 442 is
finished in white with a black vinyl automatic top, paired with
factory Oldsmobile wire wheel covers which look awesome. Starting
in 1965 the standard engine became the 400 cubic inch V8 which is
reflected in the name 4-4-2. 442 stands for 400CI engine, 515CFM
4-barrel Rochester carburetor, and 2-exhasut pipes, all of this was
backed up by Oldsmobiles 2-speed floor mounted automatic shifter.
As shown in the engine bay photos, this 442 is optioned with power
steering, as well as power brakes which was not a standard option.
The interior is in excellent condition with lots of chrome pieces
and trimming as well as a console mounted 6K rpm tach, upgraded
Sunpro gauges that show water temperature, oil pressure and battery
voltage. In the trunk, this car is also upgraded with a custom
audio sound C/D player as well as a full-size spare tire and jack
