Up for sale is my numbers matching real GT 1968 convertible Mustang with a 302 and 4 speed manual transmission, which has been fully restored. It has a brand new 1968 correct candy apple red paint job, which was done properly (see pics). Newly rebuilt 302 (70 miles since build). The car was originally built in the San Jose CA plant, so it came with the power limiting emission control rods within the heads. When I had the engine rebuilt, the emission rods were removed, and we carved out material in the heads to increase flow and horsepower. Everything has been redone on this Mustang, including a full new interior, new Legend wheels and tires, with the following modern technology options added: new Classic Auto Air AC, rack and pinion steering, new steering wheel, ceramic coated Hedman headers, new exhaust pipes, mufflers, and correct GT exhaust tips, Champion 4 core aluminum radiator, and an electric fan, full new suspension that includes new control arms, front springs, rear springs, shocks. New power brake booster, master cylinder, front disc and rear drum brakes. New top, which opens and closes perfectly. All weather stripping has been replaced. Zero rust, no leaks, and underneath looks just as clean as it does up top. There has been too much work done to this Mustang to list everything, so reach out to me if you have any questions or would like to Facetime and do a walk around. The car starts right up, drives smooth and straight. This is a rare vehicle, and I’ve included the Marti report for this vehicle. Everything works as it should, other than the tachometer. The tach wasn't functioning properly, so I ordered a new Scott Drake replacement, which will go with the vehicle. I have all receipts, which will also go with the vehicle. Clean and clear Texas title in hand.
