Description:
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a two-door convertible that was
modified circa 2007 and is powered by a 383ci Edelbrock Signature
Series V8 that is backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission and a Ford 9? rear end. Finished in red and fitted
with a power-operated black soft top, the car rides on staggered
Billet Specialties wheels and an Art Morrison chassis, while
braking is handled by multi-piston Wilwood calipers. The dual
exhaust system has Dynamax mufflers and cutouts. Black and red
upholstery trims the interior, which houses front bucket seats,
Vintage Air Climate control, a center console, power windows,
cruise control, a CD player, and a trunk-mounted subwoofer
Interior:
The cabin is trimmed in red and black, and leather upholstery
covers the front bucket seats and rear bench. Features include a
center console, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, and
cruise control. A CD player is housed in the center console, and a
Kicker subwoofer is concealed in the trunk.
Exterior:
Suspension includes a Mustang II front setup, a triangulated
four-link rear setup, and coilovers. Billet Specialties 17? and 18?
wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires measuring
215/45 front and 275/35 rear, respectively. Braking is provided by
six-piston front and four-piston rear Wilwood calipers over
cross-drilled and slotted discs.
Drivetrain:
The 383ci Edelbrock Signature Series V8 was installed circa 2007
and features Signature Series script etched on the air cleaner and
valve covers. The dual exhaust system consists of long-tube
headers, Dynamax mufflers, and cutouts.
The car rides on an Art Morrison chassis, and power is sent to the
rear wheels through a 4-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a
Ford 9? rear end.
