gets the original premium chrome ring wheel. Beyond that is the
wide gauge cluster that spans nearly half the dash. It includes a
massively long speedometer flanked by two barrel-style gauge
clusters. Plus, there's a cleanly installed SW oil pressure readout
under the dash. It's these kinds of upgrades that really reinforce
the feeling of a driver's classic.
The engine bay is filled with blue oval big block power. As a
proper R-code tribute, this has a mighty 427 cubic-inch V8 heart.
And that long air grabber is covering a dual set of Holley
four-barrel carburetors. The whole motor has a clean and correct
look, right down to Ford hoses and Autolite decals. However, this
is a proper driver, and so you will also spot the right upgrades,
like an MSD 6AL ignition and a Summit distributor. The big block
fires up readily, and it makes a sultry tune out of the H-pipe dual
exhaust. This is a car that likes you to feel the road like a
proper classic. But you'll also feel the right poise from features
like the drilled & slotted Wilwood front disc brakes, wide BF
Goodrich T/A, and the overall confidence that comes from a clean
