Zoom Classic Cars is proud to present this 1968 Chevrolet Impala.
The 1968 Chevrolet Impala two door features a sleek and classic
design, with a long hood and rounded body lines that give it an
elegant appearance. The chrome accents and details add a touch of
sophistication to the overall look of the car. While originally a
307 car, the vehicle has been upgraded with a 350 crate motor that
transfers the power to the rear wheels via a non-original
four-speed manual transmission. The vehicle was originally an
automatic, with the gear shift on the column, but with the switch
to manual transmission, the gear shift is on the floor. The engine
and transmission have less than 10,000 miles on them since
installation. The vehicle has been equipped with a rear spring lift
and Cragar Mag wheels to give it that classic muscle car look. As
seen in the photos the trunk is clean and solid. The interior
boasts the black headliner, seats, carpet, and dash. The interior
of the Impala offers a spacious cabin with comfortable seating for
up to five passengers. The dashboard is clean and uncluttered, with
easy-to-read gauges and controls for added convenience. The vehicle
is equipped with a heater, AM/FM CD player, and functional gauges
including the speedometer, odometer, water pressure, and fuel
gauge. The current owner has had the vehicle over 20 years, and
believes the vehicle has been repainted prior to his purchase.
There is some surface rust just below the base of the vinyl top as
shown in pictures. The BF Goodrich tires have about 70% of their
life remaining. The car starts, runs and drives as it should. The
vehicle is located in St. Clair, Michigan and the asking price is
$26,995. Please contact Tom F. at 269-317-3955 for more
information.
