Deluxe Long Bed, finished in original Toyota Red (Paint Code 336),
was manufactured in April 1979 at the Tahara Hino Motors, Ltd plant
in Japan (Assembly Code A51). Purchased new on August 3, 1979, from
Rock Hill Toyota in Rock Hill, SC, by Bennie B. Mosely Jr., the
truck has remained within the same family since day one. With only
20 miles at the time of purchase, ownership passed from the
original owner to his son-in-law in 2017. The truck has been
garage-kept its entire life, avoiding rain for the past 25 years,
and recently enjoyed a highway road trip to
Charleston.HighlightsOne Family OwnedGarage Kept in South Carolina

truck is the original 20R 2189cc (133.6 cubic inch) engine, paired
with the L43 4-speed manual transmission and enhanced with a Weber
32/34 carburetor. This 4WD model includes a dealer-installed front
push bar, Warn 3000lb Electric Winch Model 3000, ASCO front manual
hubs, and an upgraded aluminum radiator with electric fans for
superior cooling, making it ready for slow rolling off-road
ventures. The axle code G102 indicates an 8.0' rear end with a
3.360:1 gear ratio and 2-pinion setup. The truck bed is in fantastic
shape and has been well preserved by the previous owner. The bed
has color matched bedliner on the top and bottom. The owner removed
the truck bed, coated the frame, and the undercarriage of the truck
bed. This was genius level intuition to preserve this truck for
decades to come. The exterior retains its cream white 15x5.5 steel
wheels with rare factory chrome center caps, fitted with 30x9.50R15
BFGoodrich All Terrain tires. Additional features include a Toyota
Genuine CB radio with a still-packaged antenna, a rear sliding
window, and the original spare tire mounted underneath.Inside, the
beige vinyl (Trim Code KC41) and plaid cloth seating is
well-preserved. The dash includes a factory AM/FM radio, Toyota
Genuine CB radio, and transfer case instructions with woodgrain
trim accents. Upgrades include a Bosch aftermarket temperature
gauge, and a Yazaki amp and oil pressure gauges mounted in the
lower center dash. Original manuals, such as the 1979 Toyota
Owner's Guide and Warn winch manual, accompany the truck. This truck
recently underwent extensive servicing at Car Cave USA, totaling
nearly $11,000. The comprehensive work included a suspension and
steering overhaul with new Bilstein 4600 shocks, rebuilt front
hubs, Moog tie rods, energy suspension bushings, and an Old Man Emu
steering damper. The engine received new gaskets for the timing
cover, oil pan, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap,
rotor, water pump, starter, thermostat, and valve cover gasket. The
clutch system was refreshed with a new master and slave cylinder.
The brake system was updated with new drums, wheel cylinders, and
shoes, and the aftermarket Weber 32/34 carburetor was rebuilt for
smooth performance. Contact us to review the complete service
