Zoom Classic Cars is proud to present this 1974 Volkswagen
Westfalia Camper Van. The current owner has had this vehicle for
the past five years, putting less than 6000 miles on it, and always
keeping it in the garage. This vehicle is equipped with the
reliable 1.8-liter engine and the 4-speed manual transmission, both
believed to be original but may have been rebuilt. The camper
equipment is in great shape and still works wonderfully, including
the sink and stove. The paint is in great shape with no scratches
or bubbles. The vehicle was repainted and during the process
surface rust was cleaned up and removed. The vehicle has a very
solid body. The vehicle is equipped with power brakes, and the
master cylinder has been replaced along with the power booster. The
clutch, clutch cable, pressure plate, release bearing, and shifter
linkage bushings have also been replaced. The valves have been
adjusted to make the vehicle run even smoother. The interior boasts
no rips or tears in the fabric, and wood door panels, it is unknown
if either are original. There is also a fully functioning stove,
sink, and pop-up camper space. The flooring is a laminate material.
The fuel gauge stopped working, and instead of just replacing the
gauge, the entire instrument cluster was replaced. Thus, the
mileage is not correct, but before it was replaced the mileage was
around 88,000. The true mileage is unknown. The glass is all clear
and believed to be original. The graphic of the VW bug on the side
is a graphic wrap and can be removed with a little bit of time and
a hair dryer. This is not a restored to original VW Camper Van but
is a fully functional Camper Van with some upgrades. The vehicle is
located in Lexington, South Carolina with a clean title and asking
price of $25,995.
