It’s a 1966 Corvette, that’s why you are here right? To buy a corvette and make your life awesome. Here’s the thing… Corvette is a French word for a small warship. And while it makes no sense to name a car after a naval boat, Chevy did it. And they made the greatest car to ever grace this planet. The C2 is probably the sweetest example of American muscle, balance, performance and nostalgia. I bought this car to make my life better and it absolutely delivered.
I named her Lucy. Everywhere Lucy goes she gets compliments. She is Mosport Green which is by far the coolest color ever painted onto a car. It’s also a color that was only offered in 1966 and less than 2,000 examples were produced. She has a matching soft-side yeti cooler in her color with her name on it and that comes with the car.
I purchased her in excellent condition from a dealer when I was bored out of my mind during the pandemic and she has never done anything but be a good girl. She has matching numbers, everything looks perfect and drives like a dream. 327 4 speed.
Over the past 3 years I have taken great care of this car and I really love her… but we have also had two children in that time span. Kids are expensive. (one of them is on the car in these pictures). There is, unfortunately, no room in our lives for this baby anymore. (Ok my wife told me to sell it)
I am happy to field any questions and to have car inspected… it is in great shape. I do not have any legacy paperwork or odometer disclosures as they were not included with the car when I purchased it. All service has been done at the local Chevy dealership.
She doesn’t have AC, but she does have those little cranking triangle windows that open up and give you all the fresh air you will need while you are tearing up the streets.
