Sleek style, great features, T-tops, and a five-speed all make this
1988 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 an attractive fuel-injected classic. But what
makes this amazing is that it's a two-owner car where the ultra-low
odometer is not a typo! So as you look through the full package,
you're going to see a carefully preserved presentation that makes
this one irresistible.
We're told this coupe spent 34 years with its original owner and
has only had one more after that. And when you realize that this
car has only averaged about 150 miles annually, you understand the
level of reverence these two have had for the iconic Z-car. So the
factory Champagne Pearl paint is like a premium champagne toast to
those who have put in the effort to keep this one looking awesome.
And we can understand why this earns its elevated status. These
later cars from the Z31 generation had a smoother style and full
color-matched bumpers. So it's the one that feels like it really
got the balance of luxury and technology right. And the whole coupe
looks impressive everywhere from the full-length pinstripe to the
15-inch buzzsaw alloys. Even the rear window louvers appear to be a
rear and stock NISMO piece. So in the world of modified Japanese
sports cars, you're looking at survivor-style distinction.
The two-tone pinstripe of the exterior nicely harmonizes with the
colors of the two-tone cloth interior. So it's great to take the
T-tops out and show it off to the world. You can even protect the
glass in the factory storage bags. The full package is both highly
original and loaded. That's why you have power windows, power
locks, power mirrors, cruise control, the factory AM/FM/cassette
stereo, and cold-blowing air conditioning. It's quite hard for us
to find any flaws, and that's the difference you get from low
mileage and great care. What's best about it all is just how much a
proper Z-car is a driver's machine. The bucket has great contouring
to grip your body, and the stick shift just seems to fall in the
ideal place for your right hand. The leather-wrapped steering wheel
has a nice design to give you a great view of the full gauges with
a large speedo and handy tach.
What keeps the Z-cars in-demand is the powerhouse. Nissan/Datsun
have built their backbone on providing six-cylinder motors that are
both reliable and hardy. This 3.0-liter V6 with fuel injection and
overhead cam is at the heart of that reputation. So it's great to
see it looking stock under the hood. It embodies the best you
expect from a Japanese sports car with an engine that fires up
readily and it pulls strong out on the road. There's even a
five-speed manual transmission to give you confident control over
it all. Plus, you have power steering, four-wheel, power disc
brakes, and a fully independent sports suspension to give you a
terrific driver's classic when it's time to add to the low
odometer.
The sale comes complete with the maintenance records, owner's
manual, T-top sunshades, and T-tops storage bags. This is the kind
of time capsule classic that feels as solid as an everyday driver.

distinction, call today!
