1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS - Awesome example of the hottest car in today's collector muscle car market, finished in a very desirable color combo with the "King of the Streets" drivetrain! Who doesn't love a red '70 Chevelle with black stripes and a Big Block?!?! Previous long-term ownership by a muscle car enthusiast, well cared for and only driven during summer months in order to "preserve" the older restoration. Appropriately powered by the ICONIC 1970 GM "LS6" 454-V8 (NOM) that is date-code and "3512-casting" correct but NOT original to the car. Motor has just been freshly rebuilt in 2024 only 400 miles ago, back to (almost) factory specs, with alot of period-correct specific parts and dyno-tuned at over 463hp! Updated performance additions include forged dome top pistons, roller rockers, retro roller cam, high volume oil pump, MSD electronic ignition, auxiliary brake vacuum pump, custom headers, 3" stainless exhaust, transmission cooler and heavy duty aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. All that power is put to the pavement through a performance-built "TCI" TH-400 automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear with 4.10 gears. Also nicely equipped from the factory with power steering and power disc brakes up front. Car rides great and looks the part on a correct set of SS mag wheels with BFG white letter radials. Exterior is finished in the trim-tag correct shade of Cranberry Red with black rally stripes and a black vinyl roof. All chrome and trim shows very well and glass is in wonderful condition. Interior contrasts nicely in correct factory black vinyl tones throughout with center console and staple shifter. A newer RetroSound AM/FM stereo system has been installed for your listening pleasure along with upgraded HID headlights and LED dash lights. Engine bay and trunk are clean and the factory jack with spare are still in-tact. Underside is solid with no signs of any current rust or rot issues. Everyone know these '70 Chevelle's fetch a pretty penny lately and can be all over the map. True documented LS6 cars are well into the double-six figures and nobody even gets to enjoy them.
