LQ9 6.0 motor with a custom cam by Vaughn's Hot Rods, mated to a
reliable 4L65E transmission from Bulldog Transmission for smooth,
high-performance shifts. A Ridetech complete suspension system and
a narrowed rear end by Hudlow Axle (1 inch on each side) ensure a
superior handling experience.
Key features of this Impala SS include:
Suspension and Wheels: Ridetech suspension with a 2-inch front
drop, complemented by custom billet Intro wheels wrapped in Nitto
tires (20x8.5" front, 22x10" rear), enhancing both aesthetics and
performance.
Braking and Fuel Systems: Upgraded four-wheel disc brakes, a new
fuel system, and a new gas tank with sending unit.
Modern Gauges and Interior: Dakota Digital gauges add a sleek,
modern touch to the interior, while new temperature sending unit,
speedometer cable, and transmission shift linkage bushings enhance
reliability.
Additional Restoration: New transmission cooler lines, radiator,
upper and lower ball joints, control arm bushings, master cylinder,
and universal joints. The car has also undergone a comprehensive
brake job with new lines, wheel seals, and a pinion seal.
