The first owner of this car was said to be a funeral home. They kept the car in excellent condition, clean and garaged as funeral homes generally do. They sold it to the most recent owner in 2012. Since then only about 1000 miles have been accumulated! He was a Buick / car collector and used it very little. Nice repaint at some point of the original black color. Woodgrain delete car from the factory.
The maroon crushed velour interior is in superb condition. Full power options. Most of it works as designed. The passenger power seat only works on tilt function and the right rear power lock actuator is lazy when locking. COLD AIR CONDITIONING and a functioning Delco stereo. Power tailgate window works well and yes, it's got the third seat!
The 307 V8 runs amazingly well as you'd expect from a low mileage car. Nothing needed to do right away. A very turn key car. Some dampness at rear differential but no severe leaks.
So here we have a very clean example but no show queen. Not collector car status. This has been a New England car and because of that it's got some typical New England underside scale. Front left floor and spare tire well have been patched (see picture gallery). Suspension components appear original and show their 35 year age. Again though, nothing to address. Just drive and enjoy. The frame is exceptionally clean and rust free.
The perfect car for the person that loves Buicks and wants a really cool and inexpensive daily driver. Preserve and enjoy but don't restore. Many many years of trouble free enjoyment and conversations ahead for it's next owner!
