They went through the entire car and replaced the battery, mounted new tires, a new fuel tank, a new carburetor and serviced the brakes. With the great color coordination of Primrose yellow body and a black interior, top and boot, she comes out of long-term storage with only 54k exempt miles. She also boasts a 4-cylinder, 1493cc, 1.5L engine putting out 53bhp with a top speed of 82mph. Probably not the best getaway car but a wonderful driving cruiser that could easily be a daily driver. VWs of this vintage have been climbing in value as people recognize the "bang for the buck" they provide. Financing and transport easily arranged.
